Multi-Gyn – Skinny jeans … A problem?

Posted in

It’s definitely my favourite fashion item: my blue skinny jeans. Great to accentuate your figure! Lots of women I know wear skinny jeans. I think they look good on many people. But did you know that it’s not wise to wear skinny jeans every single day?

Let it breathe
They look good and have a perfect fit. So why shouldn’t you wear your skinny jeans every day? Believe it or not, but skinny jeans can cause vaginal complaints. Yes, that’s right. It sounds very weird but it is the truth. How come? The answer is quite simple: skinny jeans close off your intimate area. Your intimate area should be able to ‘breathe’.

Disturbing the vaginal flora
Closing your vaginal area off with synthetic clothing or tight pants can really disturb your vaginal flora. The same goes for panty hoses and underwear made from synthetic fibres. Your vagina is a very sensitive organ. And when the vaginal flora gets disturbed, harmful bacteria present in the vagina can take the upper hand and cause all kinds of nasty vaginal complaints such as itching, malodour and abnormal discharge. This could even lead to Candida or Bacterial Vaginosis.

Of course, wearing skinny jeans every once in a while won’t do any harm. And a skinny made from cotton is better than for example polyester. Just make sure you don’t wear a skinny every day. If you notice vaginal complaints after wearing skinny jeans, Multi-Gyn ActiGel can help you restore the delicate balance in your vagina.
