A lovely comment for our opening….. night!!
From Justin Kyle Camilleri (yes… a man!!)

From a male perspective, going to watch ‘The Vagina Monologues’ seems (for want of a better word), a daunting task. There is that tiny bit of fear and apprehension that you’re about to be force-fed an extremely condescending piece of feminist propaganda, both alienating and patronizing to the male gender.

After tonight, I can confirm that those fears are a load of misogynistic crap and I’d like to thank Nanette Brimmer for expertly staging this illuminating & entertaining production.

I’d especially like to congratulate the five women: Julia Elizabeth Calvert, Paula Fleri-Soler, Faye Paris, Nicky Schembri & Steffi Thake, who bravely brought these characters and their stories to life. It’s a rare thing to truly feel and care for a character over the course of 90 minutes, but to do so for over a dozen of them is an impressive feat indeed.

In short, it’s an excellent piece of theatre that deserves as large an audience as possible. Bravo ladies & break legs for the rest of the run
